Join us for the most fun and unique car rally going, Saturday August 23. It’s the 2nd Annual Braille Car Rally to benefit American Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired of Colorado’s Sight for Seniors Program. The fun starts with coffee from Ziggi’s and bagels from Moe’s at check in at 7:15 at the Westminster Costco (6400 W. 92nd Ave.) and ends at the historic Rambler Ranch (36370 Forest Trail) in Elizabeth. In between, enjoy the thrill of the open road…with a twist. Drivers can be teamed with blind or visually impaired navigators or sighted navigators wearing blind simulators must negotiate the course using large print or Braille instructions. There will also be a delicious lunch stop on the way and awards celebration at the Rambler Ranch. And then take a tour of the fabulous collection of cars and memorabilia on site. (Visit www.ramblerranch.com for more info) There is something for every car lover at Rambler Ranch. You will believe you stepped back in time as you view the magnificent collection of automobiles featuring vintage American Motors, Nash, DeSoto, Dodge, Chrysler, Edsel, Chevrolet, Ford, Renault, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Kaiser, Studebaker, Wolsley Packard, Fiat, Mercedes, BMW, Vauxhall, Lincoln, Mercury, Allstate, Opel, Jeep, Bricklin Funwagon, Citroen, Pontiac, Acura, GMC, Honda and more represented in the museum. Rambler Ranch is a car lover’s dream to visit. In addition to the 600 cars, there are thousands of different types of car memorabilia to see.
